More about the items:
Alginate is supplied in large 550g packs and is suitable for life casting and one off moulding applications. Alginate is non-toxic and safe for moulding directly from a person’s skin – hands, faces etc. This Alginate is considered to be slow setting which is around four minutes – watch out for other Alginate that is fast setting because you won’t have much time to apply it before it sets.
Herculite 2 is a hard casting plaster, for general casting, mould making, FX work, movie prop construction, costuming and model making. Herculite 2 should be mixed with water at a ratio of 100 plaster to 42 water.
Modroc plaster bandages can be used for 3D modelling, mould support jackets / mother moulds, and more.
