Creative Resources Distribution holds stock of the Jesmonite AC100 water based casting and laminating solution. Jesmonite AC100 is provided as a liquid and a powder which are mixed at a ratio of 1 part liquid to 2.5 parts powder by weight, although in testing a ratio of 1:3 was preferred. AThixotrope product is also available for Jesmonite in order to make a gel coat - this should be added drop by drop until the desired consistency is achieved.

-Is a white / light grey colour when set

Jesmonite AC100 contains no solvents as it is water based, therefore it isnon-toxic and non-flammable; it has no nasty fumes like polyester resin. Jesmonite AC100 is a weather resistant product, although it should be sealed for permanent use outdoors, it also has full fire certification for Class 0. Jesmonite AC100 is compatible with both Latex and Silicone moulds – no release agent is required.
This item is one 500g bottle of Jesmonite thixotrope - thickener additive for making a gel coat, which should be added at 2g-6g per Kg of mixed resin (you will need hardly any). Check out our other items for kits and fibreglass fabric products.
